In order to continue providing the best possible scheduling options to my guests, I require 24 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your visit with me. Should you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice or not show up to your scheduled time, a cancelation fee of 30% of the service total does apply. I strive to accommodate my clients and I get that life happens, please contact me if something comes up. I'm pretty flexible and understanding!
For the health and safety of myself, my other clients, my coworkers, and the other guests of the salon, if you are not feeling well or have been around anyone in the past week who has not been feeling well and/or is sick (this includes friends, family members, etc), I urge you to please contact me to reschedule your appointment. If you show up to your appointment with any signs of illness I will politely ask you to leave. In this circumstance, I will be waiving any cancellation fees.
Re- Do and Return Policy
I strive to offer my guests the highest level of satisfaction. If you are having challenges with your cut or color, let me know within 7 days of your visit and I'm happy to correct the issue with no additional charge. Although, if I have expressed in our consultation that we might not achieve the desired results and that we might need multiple sessions, you agree that this will be a separate service with respected charges. Should you make a retail purchase that you are unsatisfied with, I will accept retail exchanges at full credit for 60 days after initial purchase, or if the product if less than 30% used whichever comes first..

Where are you located?
The Hair Collective is a Co-Op style salon that provides an inspiring and creative space for like minded hair artists. Each chair has an individual business owner. We are located on the near east side in the Williamson/Marquette neihborhood. The Collective is directly across from the Willy Street Co-Op, next to CODA Jazz Bar and Tinnen Chiropractic. There is no receptionist or check-in when you arrive. Just kindly wait for a text or an OK from your stylist and a Co-Creator will greet and guide you to your stylist. We cant wait to see you!
Where should I park?
Our designated parking lot is currently unavailable. There is plenty of 2 hour street parking on Williamson Street except for between 4pm-5:30pm on Willy Street Co-Ops side and from 8am-9:30am on the Hair Collective's side starting at our building. If you are coming between these times or believe your appointment may be loger than 2 hours, there is also side street parking on Few Street and Baldwin, as well as behind the building on Main St. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding until we can provide our designated parking lot behind our building.
If I join the waitlist, how long should I expect to wait for an appointment?
My books usually fill up very fast. I'm generally booked out 3-4 months in advance. I keep track of my waitlist and send out an email for those clients to book once every 2-3 months. At that time appointments are first come first serve, and just know that you may not be able to book your first visit until 8-12 weeks into the future. My waitlist is a way I can manage my schedule so that I can give current guests priority. After your first visit with me you can book online freely for the future. You can join my waitlist by clicking here.
What if I'm not sure what service I need?
A great place to start talking about your hair goals and what I can do to help you acheive them is to fill out my New Client Survey, where you can even add photos of your hair now and your "hairspiration." From there I will be in touch within 24-48 hours to have a pre-consultation and we can decide which service would be best for you! You can access the form here.
What precautions will be taken to ensure my health and safety during the current COVID-19 situation?
The COVID-19 situation is ever changing. I am keeping up with all guidlines and recommendations from the CDC and WHO to ensure your safety and health when you visit me for your appointment. Here are the guidelines and precedures I have put in place:
What is OLAPLEX?
OLAPLEX is the original Bond Builder. Patented active chemistry works on a molecular level to repair damaged and broken bonds in the hair that are caused by chemical, thermal, and mechanical damage. You can use OLAPLEX to restore damaged and compromised hair, or add it to coloring/lightening services to provide the ultimate breakage insurance. Balayage by Billie is an official OLAPLEX salon.
